Study: God Has For Us A Full Basket Of Fruit

Workshop A: The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22) Learn how His Spirit can daily prune, water, fertilize and shine His light upon us to grow this produce within us. This is God’s great desire for His children.

Workshop B: Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. (John 15:4) God desires quality time with us. Similar to how we desire quality time with our husbands, children, close friends or family. Every day matters with Him. God’s deep desire is for us, His church, to love Him first and to show love to all others. Let’s dig in together and see how God reveals Himself to us in the beauty of a full basket of fruit.

Crisi Dykstra

Crisi lives just south of Grand Rapids with her husband Ken. They are newly “empty nesters” and are enjoying life with adult children. Crisi and Ken welcomed a new son in law to their little squad as their daughter Chelsea was recently married this summer. Chelsea is a first year elementary music teacher. She and her husband Danny bought a home in the NE Grand rapids area. Crisi’s son Justin is currently studying marketing/ business abroad in Seoul, South Korea at Korea University. Crisi and Ken attend Crossroads Bible Church. They have a heart for men and women’s ministries. Crisi also enjoys serving in worship. Crisi received her Bachelor of Music Degree from Cornerstone University. She has a home studio and as a private music instructor has found great joy in teaching for over 20 years. Eight years ago Crisi was invited to teach and serve in worship at Bay Shore Worship Arts Camp. Experiencing the work of God each summer and the joy of seeing lives changed has been so powerful. Crisi has fallen in love with Bay Shore Camp, the campers, and staff; building some lifelong friendships.

Jamie Willett-Parker

Jamey Willett-Parker felt the call of God on her life for ministry since her youth. As a teenager she would passionately search out God’s Word and spend hours seeking the Lord in preparation for her future in ministry. After high school, she attended Southeastern University and shortly thereafter, traveled in evangelistic ministry singing and ministering the Word. She has also traveled with Thurlow Spurr Ministries and shared the stage in song with Concert Ministries, Inc. Faith Gospel Tabernacle has always been her ministry covering and home church. She is the Associate Minister at Faith Gospel Tabernacle. Her and her husband Mark are also the mission’s directors at FGT. One of Jamey’s recent trips took her overseas to Myanmar where she spent 5 weeks equipping young and old for the work of the ministry. Jamey has a passionate desire to see babes in Christ grow to full maturity. She realizes the power God’s Word has to transform, fortify and empower believers for service.

Study: Understanding Fear

Fear is a tyrant. It will steal your dreams, cause depression, wreak havoc on your body and so much more. We will learn: Where it comes from and how to deal with it. You can live free from fear.

Karmen Wilson

Karmen and her husband, Brian, are natives of Caro. After living in several other places from 1992 to 2019, they moved back to Caro. They now live in the house Brian grew up in. They have three children. Karmen homeschooled the children, and later in life worked for a not-for-profit literacy center. Two of their children are married and have given them five grandchildren. Both Karmen and Brian grew up in the church but the trials of life are what taught them to walk with the Lord. Karmen says, “I am grateful for the hard times. That is where I truly met my Abba Father. That is where I learned the grace and truth of Jesus. That is where I found the presence of the Lord. My calling is to teach. My passion is to learn from my Abba and to teach what I learn.”
