Ready to get out of the house or the office? Need to get recentered or reignited in your faith?
The camp staff and the W.O.E. committee have been working hard to coordinate an event that meets the current safety standards without compromising the call to worship and study corporately. We are pleased to announce this year’s keynote speakers and Bible study breakout leaders. Our keynote speaker will speak Friday evening, Saturday morning and evening, and Sunday morning. Breakout Bible studies have three sessions on Saturday; each leader has developed a Bible study track that builds throughout the day. You will be asked to choose the breakout session leader (3 sessions with the same leader of your choice) you will be attending. Pre-registration for tracks enables us to meet the space required for each leader’s group and have the necessary supplies available. Some Bible studies may fill up. Please register early.
Lindsey is happily married (since 2005) to Neil, and they have two children, Ora (12) and Otto (9). She currently lives in Madison, Alabama. She taught high school English for 14 years, has a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, holds her pastoral license, and is a registered evangelist through the Church of the Nazarene. She is currently serving as the Online Campus Pastor for The Valley Troy.
God has impressed upon her the necessity to preach about the transformational power of the Holy Spirit, and as a disciple of Jesus, she would be remiss if she did not use the story Christ gave her to help others come to the full realization that they are Loved, Chosen, and Adopted (Eph 1:4-6).
Whether you are facing a difficult season or going through the best moment in your life, the message of “Rest, Restore, Renew and Release” will encourage you to navigate life focused on Jesus. I hope to bring a fresh view of what it means to rest in the Lord and find refuge under His wings. To restore the broken pieces that loss has left, restore hope, divine hope that brings renewal to the soul, and fill us with purpose. We will embrace our call to be released into a greater territory that has been prepared beforehand by God, where our influence brings honor and glory to Him.

Do you long for a deeper understanding of God’s Word? Using Paul’s prayer for the believers in Ephesians 1:15-22, we will walk through specific steps that will enable you to “correctly handle the word of truth” (II Tim 3:15). You will learn the significance of the historical-cultural and literary contexts, the author’s intended meaning for the original audience, the Holy Spirit’s role, and the application of theological principles. Laura will demonstrate free online study tools. The goal of this class is “that you may know God better” (Eph 1:17).

Using the inductive study method to uncover some of the gems in the Apostle Paul’s letter to Titus, attendees will come away with a fresh insight into the “Good” things we can apply to everyday living as we keep “Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13 NIV).
