Quilters’ Retreat – Spring 2021
Join us for the Spring Quilters’ Retreat! This will be a great event for all quilters out there. Bring your unfinished projects to the retreat, enjoy fellowship, inspirational talks and worship together.
Rev. Cindy Parsons
Rev. Cindy Parsons is a retired pastor of the Michigan
Conference of the United Methodist Church. Rev. Cindy
was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, grew up in Lansing,
and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education
from Western Michigan University, majoring in German.
She worked for nine years at International Research and
Development in Mattawan where she was a technical writing supervisor. She began her second career as a pastor by earning her Master’s degree at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio. Her first appointment was in 1989 to four small churches in Missaukee County, in northern Michigan. Since then she has served United Methodist Churches on both sides of the state. Her husband Jeff is the Executive Director of Bay Shore Camp and Family Ministries in Sebewaing, where they make their home. They have no children but own a Golden Retriever named Jack, and two Golden doodles – Charlie who is a Therapy Dog, and Mabel whose gifts are yet to be revealed.

Special information before you come...
Due to current health and safety guidelines space may be limited. Rooms will have 2-3 guests in each (request roommates you are comfortable with).
CDC and State guidelines will be followed, so please bring a mask, as they are required in certain areas, such as the dining hall.
Also, for the safety and health of our committee and guests, we will ONLY be doing UFO’s (Un- Finished Objects).
For this year only, guests are being asked to bring their own cutting mats, rulers, travel irons (please no full-size irons), and other supplies needed to complete a project. A small ironing table (TV tray size) will also be allowed this year. There will be no communal use of supplies, irons, boards, etc. for guests to use.
There will be a LIVE auction and there will be some very nice items up for bid! (there will not be a donation table, shared snack table, or silent auction)
