Ruth Hendrickson is a conference speaker, ministry trainer, board certified counselor, and served on the pastoral staff at a Spirit-filled United Methodist Church for over 13 years. In addition she is a course facilitator for Patricia King Institute and an ordained minister with the American Presbyterian Church. Ruth has extensive experience in the development, training, implementation and oversight of Emotional Healing Ministry Teams, Recovery Ministries, Prayer Ministries and Women’s Ministry. She is passionate about training, equipping, and releasing individuals to walk in wholeness, healing (both physical and emotional) and freedom. Ruth’s understanding of various denominations allows her to easily cross denominational boundary lines.
Ruth “grew up” in the church where her father served as the pastor and became a Christian at an early age. She has been active at The Crossing for over 30 years. Her commitment to serving God and equipping churches to demonstrate God’s power and compassion is evident through her lifestyle of prayer and service. Through biblical-based teaching and practical applications, infused with love and laughter, her goal is to introduce people not only to the living God who saves and saves, but also to the God who desires a intimate relationship with each one of us.
Ruth and her husband, Mark, have been married for since 1984, have five adult children and reside in Stockton, N.J.
Rhonda Watson is originally from Tennessee, began working in pregnancy center ministry in Oklahoma just outside of Tulsa in 1987. She moved to Michigan in 1991 to serve as the Executive Director of the Pregnancy Care Center in Traverse City. Rhonda will speak to the issues of women in ministry leadership sharing what she has learned through her greatest mistakes and the Lords successes.
Anne Parsell sees herself first as a delighted explorer of the mysteries of God’s grace for which she is infinitely grateful. Anne is a state licensed professional counselor in her seventh year of practice at Cross Roads Counseling Ministries in Frankenmuth. She feels privileged to see many clients find freedom in Christ and power to overcome themselves. She will be helping us to overcome ourselves to be used by Christ.
Sheri Lynn Essian shares the life-changing work God did in her life when she met Jesus at age 21. She married husband, Pat and graduated from MSU in 1983, while God continued to chip and reshape. Through raising three children and developing a business, He tirelessly worked on this selfish product of the 1970’s into where she is now…an only slightly dysfunctional servant of the Lord. Sheri Lynn will be sharing about life changing events and how to navigate through them.
Lora Aldrich is a homegrown Bay Shore Camper. Lora lives in Pigeon with her family and is a gifted musician and vocalist. Lora feels the call of the Lord to share with others the struggles and joys of motherhood. Her workshops will be focused on identifying you and your child’s core needs and strengths and using those for a lifetime of following Christ.

The Commuter option includes the program and all meals. Lodging is the comfort of your own home.
The Duplex Cabin includes the program and all meals. Each heated and air conditioned cabin includes 8 sets of bunk beds with bathroom and shower facilities to share with others. No linens are provided so plan to bring a twin set of sheets and blanket, or sleeping bag, your favorite pillows and towels.
The Tibbits Housing includes the program and all meals and a room in our most historic housing option above our dining hall. Each room is configured differently and may include a double bed and/or a twin, so you’ll need to bring appropriate bedding, your favorite pillow and towels. You may be invited to share a room with a friend. Each room includes air conditioning and a portable heat source if needed. Shared bathrooms are located down the hall.
The Lodge Housing includes the program and all meals and a room in one of our most comfortable lodges. Each heated and air conditioned room comes with a queen or twin bed and bunk set. All linens, pillows and towels are provided. Each room includes a private bath and shower. Limited single rooms are available.
