Counselor Spring Training

This is a required event for anyone interested in counseling at Bay Shore Camp for the 2015 summer. You must be at least 16 years old or a Junior in High School.

This weekend is for any student who wants to be a counselor, whether you’ve already been one or this will be your first time. You must currently be at least 16 years old and/or a junior in high school. Even if you came to last year’s session, you should still attend if you want to counsel this summer. With new speakers and an awesome worship experience, you’ll come away from this weekend fueled for summer like never before. By attending this training program, you will be prepared to be an awesome camp counselor.

Chad Coppess - Training

Chad currently serves as the Program Administrator at Grace Adventures. Chad is passionate about seeing people develop and grow to reach their full potential in which they were created to be. His favorite part of his job is creating environments for people to grow and exhort others in their character development, their skills, talents, and gifts.

Josh Chaffin - Bible Teacher

Josh Chaffin is the Lead Minister at Central Michigan University’s His House where he has been on staff for 8 years. Josh, his wife Wendi, and two sons, Asher and Titus, have a heart for sharing the love of Jesus Christ with college students, families, and everyone they meet. Josh also serves as the CMU Football Chaplain.

Matt Wagner Band - Worship

Matt Wagner is a Worship Pastor in Flushing, MI. He leads worship for his church and writes songs that are meant to be sung in a corporate setting, to praise God. Out of these songs, God has blessed Matt with the opportunity to be able to travel around Michigan and the Midwest leading worship for different conferences, youth camps, and retreats.
